Coming soon:
The 2004 Momaya Short Story Competition closes on 1 July.
Submissions are welcome at: www.momayapress.com. Stories of 2,500
words or less, on any topic, are invited. Our judges include a
writer, an editor, and a literary agent who is looking out for the
next new novelist. The top ten entries will be announced in August,
and published in the Momaya Annual Review 2004.
Momaya Press is teaming up with the American Repertory Theatre
(ART). Selected actors and actresses from the ART will read aloud
the winning entries from the Momaya Short Story Competition. This
dramatic reading should be lively and entertaining, and broaden the
appeal of a literary reading beyond the usual audience. This event
will take place in August, day and time to be announced.
