(1) Momaya Press Awards Ceremony 2007 On 15th December 2007, Momaya Press hosted our annual awards ceremony in the United States for the first time at Hygeia in New Milford, Connecticut. The evening featured readings of winning stories, words of inspiration from authors and judges, and original music. Writing is typically a solitary affair and opportunities to share writing communally are rare. We were glad to demonstrate the international nature of our competition which generates submissions from writers around the globe and thank those who joined us on the evening. (2) Momaya Annual Review 2007 Available for Purchase The Momaya Annual Review 2007 contains some of the finest writing of the year, complimented by poems and photography. We thank the writers, artists, judges, and others who have supported our project to promote the short story as an art form, both as readers and writers. (3) 5th Annual Short Story Competition Deadline is 30th April 2008 Momaya Press is extending an invitation to any writers you think may be interested in publishing a short story. Momaya Press sponsors a Short Story Competition to bring fresh writing to the attention of qualified judges. Submit your short story (2,500 word limit) by 30 April 2008 in order to compete for prize money and publication in the Momaya Annual Review 2008.
